New Smyrna Beach Dog Park – This one is for the four-legged friends you may be vacationing with. This dog park will allow you to take the leash off and give the dog a chance to run free and mingle with others.
Smyrna Dunes Park – With ocean and dunes views, it’s hard to beat a stroll through this park. The park offers a raised boardwalk that is handicap-accessible. As you make your way around the 2-mile walk, numerous look-out areas provide breathtaking views of the area.
Lake Ashby Park – While visiting the area, you may want to take a short hike but not get too far into the woods. Stop by Lake Ashby Park for a quick stroll through Old Florida woods. Located on the lake, you will have beautiful views, see wildlife, and enjoy a great walk. The park also offers picnic tables, covered pavilions, and a children’s playground!
Canaveral National Seashore – Well worth visiting while in the area, this national spotlight offers pristine beaches, hiking trails, boardwalk treks, and more. The beaches in this national park have not had anything built on them, so you will naturally see what a coastal line looks like. There are also native shell mounds to view.
