No visit to New Smyrna Beach would be complete without climbing the steps of the lighthouse. Once you get to the top, you will be treated to amazing views in all directions. The museum and lighthouse offer tourists a fun time with some of the best views around.

This is a trendy area that is filled with unique shops and restaurants. Take a few hours to have lunch and stroll along, stopping at the stores. Everyone finds some kind of treasure to take home.

Learning about the local marine life is fun, especially when you can visit some touch tanks. This place will also take you out on an eco boat tour or let you rent a kayak to do some exploring on your own.
#4. Smyrna Dunes Park
This is a beautiful park located on the beach. Take the loop boardwalk that will bring you past gopher tortoises and fantastic beach views. There are stops along the way where you can take a break and just admire the views. Pack a picnic lunch if you have the time, and grab a table with a view.
#5. Canaveral National Seashore
Take a hike, visit the pristine beach, and check out Native American shell mounds as this gem of the area. They offer events, too, where you can take guided tours and hikes to learn about the historic area.
